PATTERSON, ELIZABETH MONTGOMERY, 86 of Sebring, FL died Tuesday, December 1, 2009 at Florida Hospital Heatland. Elizabeth was born in Martinsburg, WV, daughter of the late Dorcie and Julia Cole Montgomery. She received her Teachers Diploma from LaSalle Extension University, received her Bachelors of Science Degrees from Baylor University and Barry University. A graduate of Florida Athletic University with a Masters of Education. Elizabeth was a gifted educator in the public school system in Miami, FL and was awarded Teacher of the Year in 1984-1985 from Miami Dorcey Skill Center. She moved to Sebring in 1988 and was a member of First Baptist Church. She is survived by her son, Michael Montgomery, Martinsburg, WV and her longtime friends Anne Brogdon and Arlene Commings of Sebring, numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation 4-6 pm, Thursday at Morris Funeral Chapel, services Friday 2:00 pm, Morris Funeral Chapel with burial at Lakeview Memorial Gardens.
