She is a 1987 graduate of Columbus State Community College with an Associate’s Degree in Emergency Medicine and was a paramedic until she graduated with her Associate’s Degree in Nursing and became a Registered Nurse in 1994. She practiced at Columbus Community Hospital and Grant Medical Center specializing in critical care and trauma. She loved nursing and kept her nursing license active with hopes of returning one day. From all of these phases of her life she kept and cherished many friends too numerous to mention here.

Andi loved her animals and always had pets around the house. It didn’t matter, dog or cat, and they all co-existed peacefully. She is survived by miniature dachshund Lucy, and her baby rescue kitten Luna who miss her very much.

Andi was a bright light and a smiling face every day even through the past year when she was so sick. Andi was a fighter and such a strong soul. She will be forever missed by her family and friends.
