Barbara E Hines

Barbara E. Hines, 77, of Sebring passed away peacefully on Monday, June 15, 2026.

Born in Prairie Creek, Indiana, Barbara moved to Sebring in 1958 and made it her lifelong home. She

was the beloved daughter of Denzil and Margery, nee Lloyd, Hunt. Barbara dedicated many years of

service to the City of Sebring, retiring as a General Account Purchasing Supervisor.

Barbara found great joy in life’s simple pleasures, especially fishing, but her greatest happiness came

from spending time with her family. She treasured her role as grandmother and was devoted to those

she loved.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Bruce Hunt.

Barbara leaves behind her loving husband, Hugh Hines; her son, Michael Hines (Denise); and her

cherished granddaughters, Baxley Hines and Daxtyn Hines. She is also survived by numerous extended

family members and friends who will miss her dearly.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 19, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Morris Funeral Chapel. The

family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.

In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice in Barbara’s

memory.

Barbara’s kindness, dedication, and love for her family will be remembered always, and her memory

will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
