McMILLAN, BARBARA K., 86 of Sebring, FL died Monday, September 27, 2010 at her residence. Barbara was born in Newbury Port, MA moving to Sebring in 1972 from Miami, FL where she resided for many years. Barbara worked in the office of Ken Harris Allstate Insurance for 10 years. She was a charter member of Spring Lake Presbyterian Church and served as an elder. A very active member and served as by-laws chairman of the Highlands County Quilt Guild and the National Quilters Association and she enjoyed playing bridge. Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, George Lee McMillan and son-in-law, Ronnie Dye. She is survived by her loving daughters, Beverly Dye, Anderson, SC, Bobbie (Roland) Kelly and Judy (Stan) Haney all of Sebring; sisters, Ruth Linnean and Marsha Flander both of Sebring; six grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchld. A celebration of her life will be held 10:00 am, Thursday, September 30, 2010 at Morris Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at 2:00 pm at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL. Memorials are requested to Cornerstone Hospice and Spring Lake Presbyterian Church.
