McGEE, Jr, BENJAMIN H. (B.H.), 89, went to be with his Lord on Thursday, September 24th. He was born in Sebring, Fl, graduate of Sebring High School, class of 1944. A veteran of the U.S. Navy serving during W.W. II. Following his military service began working in the Communications Industry, retiring after over thirty years with A T&T. B.H. married Frances Gilbreath in 1949 and were very active members of First Baptist Church, Sebring. He served as a Deacon and had been active on many committees and worked in the maintenance of the church. B.H. is survived by his loving wife, Frances and children, Ruth (Doug) Richter, Fredricksburg, TX, Ben McGee, Mobile, AL, Paul McGee, Winter Garden, FL and Linda (Jay) Davoll, Apopka, FL; sisters, C. Joyce Bovard and Peggy Jones both of Sebring; nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Sunday 2-5 pm at Morris Funeral Chapel and 10-11am, Monday at First Baptist Church with a funeral service to follow at 11:00 am. Burial to follow at Pinecrest Cemetery. Those desiring may make memorials to First Baptist Church or Good Shepherd Hospice.
