Carole E. Dunfee

Carole Dunfee (Novak) was born in Jersey City, NJ. She moved to Manahawkin where she raised her five children. Carole worked for the Stafford Township Police Department for more than 30 years. Within that time, she co-founded Stafford Township Municipal Alliance to help at risk youths and was awarded Volunteer of the Year by the Governor. After retiring, she and her husband, Ralph Dunfee, moved to Florida where they enjoyed a wonderful retirement. Carole is predeceased by her sons, Steven Haberstroh and Frank Haberstroh. She is survived by her daughters, Sandra Schromsky, Robyn Stout, and Kathryn Yantz. Carole had 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She was a beautiful inspiration to all that knew her and she will be deeply missed. Her final resting place will be in Lower Bank Cemetery in New Jersey, alongside her mother and brother.
