Arcadia

Christine Argo Archer, of Arcadia, FL, passed away at Highlands Regional Hospital on March 7th, 2023 at the age of 70 with her husband and her children by her side.

Christine was born in New Bedford, Mass to her parents Joe and Eva Argo. Christine raised her two children in Mass and moved her family to Florida in 1987 with her mother Eva, looking for a better life for them. Christine went back to school and became a paramedic, which she did for many years in the Florida Keys, where she met her life long friend Garfield, whom she cherished. She met the love of her life, Junior, and they married in Jan of 2006. She moved to Arcadia, started a farm with lots of animals and never looked back. She went on to do many things including teaching CPR, working with the Federal DMAT team, flying off to volunteer in disasters, working for the State of Florida and more but her favorite job by far was her retirement dream. Working at Disney as a Disney cast member brought her many years of joy as well as all the trips it afforded her to be able to take her kids and grandkids on. She could always be found in her yard working with one of her beloved farm pets or her sassy donkey. Christine loved being  a wife, a mom,  a Grammy C and great Grammy C most of all and taking many trips to see and visit them. She loved her family unconditionally and was always there for them. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Christine was predeceased by her parents, Eva and Joe Argo and her granddaughter Taysia Doyer. She is survived by her husband Junior Archer of Arcadia, FL, her son, Albert Lewis IV and his wife Colleen of Johnston RI, her daughter Nichole Doyer and her husband Steve of Limington ME, her grand kids, Zach and fiancé Justine, Aaron, Tyler, and Nate. Her great grandkids, Hunter, Landon, Noah and Grace. Her sister Sue and husband Steve and her brother Joe, nieces and nephews and friends whom she called family.

Visiting hours to be held this Sunday March 12th, 2023 from 1-2pm at Morris Funeral Chapel, 307 S Commerce Ave., Sebring FL 33870.  A celebration of life at 2pm to follow. Burial will be private.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date to be determined in New England.
