Claude Ryland Meade

MEADE, Claude Ryland, 69, of Lorida, FL died, Saturday. He was born in Chase City, VA and a U.S. Army veteran serving in Vietnam. Ryland moved to Lorida in 1989 from Merritt Island, FL. He had worked for NASA and Pratt Whitney before moving to Lorida. He was employed in Facilities Maintenance for Highlands County and attended Lorida Church of the Brethren. Ryland was preceded in death by a brother, Ronnie and is survived by his wife, Karen Meade; sons, Donald and David Meade both of Virginia; brothers, Phillip, Curtis, Danny and Chris Meade and a sister, Donna Dean Stevens; grandson, Jordan all of Virginia. A memorial service will be held, 3:30 pm, Monday, October 8, 2012 at Lorida Church of the Brethren.
