C.M Franklin Jr

C.M "Merrill" Franklin Jr., age 77 passed away March 5th in Orlando, FL. He was born in Daytona Beach, son of the late Neil and Pansy Franklin. He grew up in Orlando, a graduate of Boone High School, class of 1957, attended Stetson University and graduated in Mortuary Science from University of Minnesota. Following graduation he worked with his father at Carey Hand Chapel. He was an avid pilot and southeastern manager for Avemco Aircraft Ins. for over 20 years. He loved hunting and fishing with trips to Oregon, Kentucky, Texas and many others. He is survived by his wife Margaret Smith Franklin, sons Neil Franklin(Janet) all of Orlando,FL, Chris Franklin, TN; sisters Kay Liles, Orlando, FL, Judy Morris(Terrill), Sebring, FL and Susan Sabo, Ocala, FL grandchildren Jennah Franklin, Noah Franklin. Memorial Service March 25, 2017 3:00 p.m. First Baptist Church Orlando (Henry Chapel). Donations made in his honor to Alzheimers & Dementia Resourse Center adrccares.org.
