BATTS, CURTIS BUFORD, 80 of Sebring, FL died October 23, 2011. Curtis was born in Moultrie, GA moving to Sebring in 1947. A Korean Veterans of the U.S. Army and retired supervisor for Sprint Telephone Co. A member of Sebring Church of the Brethren. Curtis was preceded in death by his parents, Haywood and Levina Susan Batts, and seven siblings; son, William (Billy) Calvin Batts . He is survived by his loving wife, Deloris Marie Batts; children, Ronald Dean Batts, Ozark, AL, Constance Christian, Sebring, Randy Batts Hardin, Bristol, FL and Elizabeth Osonnah Batts, Sebring; brother, Eugene Batts, and sister, Mildred Dempsey, both of Wauchula; four grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Visitation 10:00 am -11:00 am, Friday at Morris Funeral Chapel, 307 S. Commerce Ave. Funeral service to follow at 11:00 am with Rev. Cecil Hess officiating. Military Honors will follow at Lakeview Memorial Gardens, Avon Park. Memorials are requested in his name to West Palm Beach Fisher House, 7305 N. Military Trail, RT 122, West Palm Beach, Fl 33410.
