POLLITT, DONALD MERLE, 52 of Avon Park, FL died Sunday, August 23, 2015 in Key West, FL. He was born in Morristown, NJ, and attended Leigh High High School, Leigh High Acres, FL, moving to Avon Park in 1982. He was associated with his family's business, Don Pollitt Air Conditioning. Later was associated with Croson Plumbing then with Gulf Coast Plumbing. He founded T & P Plumbing, Inc. Don was preceded in death by his father, Donald T. Pollitt and is survived by his loving family, wife, Veronica J. Pollitt; his mother, Laura Pollitt; daughter, Kristina (Clay Buice) Pollitt; sons, Joseph Pollitt, Damyan Byrd and Aaron (Niki) McCray; brother, Mike (Denelle) Pollitt, all of Avon Park; sisters, Lisa (Kent) Filppula, Sebring, Kathi-Ann (Jimmy) Wollerman, Alva, FL, Wanda (Von) Pope, Babson Park, FL; grandchildren, Kyleigh Jewel Jackson, DeeAnna Mae Turner, Colton Buice, Ryann Samantha Pollitt, Sophia Byrd, Dyson and Reed McCray. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate any donations to help with the expense of giving him the proper farewell he deserves. Services for Don Pollitt will Saturday, September 5, 2015 at 10:00 AM at First Baptist Church, Sebring.
