Ellen Louise Berryhill (Gronbach), 101 went from her earthly home in Sebring, FL to her heavenly home with her
Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on March 14, 2024.

Born on her parents farm in Kussoth County, Iowa on December 31, 1922, she married Wilfred (Bill) Gale Berryhill
on April 25, 1943.

Ellen worked at different times in her life as a school teacher as well as at the Elgin Watch Factory.
Bill and Ellen lived in numerous places in the United States; as well as China Burma India; Addis Abba, Ethiopia,
where while living there they adopted their two sons Don "Tykie" and John, from an Orphanage in Athens, Greece; Jeddah,
Saudi Arabia; and eventually to Sebring, FL.

In Florida Bill and Ellen were members of Faith Lutheran Church. After Bill’s death Ellen became a founding
member of New Beginnings Church in Sebring where she remained faithful in attendance until the closing of the
church in 2021.

Ellen was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Elnora Gronbach, her younger siblings Alvin, Ruth Ann
(Brayton), Doris (Blair), Earl, and Richard, and her husband Bill of 67 years.

Ellen is survived by her son Don (Sandra) Berryhill, of Leslie, Arkansas, son John Berryhill, of Sebring, Florida, 4
Grandchildren, and 4 Great Grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and the blessing of numerous special friends.

Visitation for Ellen is from 6pm -7pm on March 25, 2024 at Morris Funeral Chapel in Sebring, Florida, with a
Celebration of Life service to follow from 7pm – 8pm. Burial will be at the Sarasota National Cemetery on March 27 at
10am, where Ellen will be laid to rest next to her husband Bill.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in the name of Ellen G Berryhill to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital
