George Coulter passed away on October 28, 2026, at the age of 76. He was the son of George and Irene Coulter. A pilot who loved flying, he will be remembered for his great sense of humor, quick wit, and his lifelong love of the outdoors.

Born on November 18, 1949, in Mount Holly, New Jersey, George spent his youth there. He graduated from Rancocas Valley Regional High School in June 1967 and later from the University of Tennessee.

George served in the United States Air Force, flying the A7-D Corsair II fighter jet during operations in support of Vietnam. He later joined American Airlines as a pilot and retired as a captain. Away from flying, he was an avid fisherman and hunter for much of his life.George is survived by his wife, Mary Coulter; his daughter, Laura Rhodenbaugh, and her spouse, Gary Rhodenbaugh; his grandchildren, Bryce Rhodenbaugh and his spouse, Abby Dillard, and Chloe Rhodenbaugh; his stepchildren, Phil Abernathy and Heather Duberson and her spouse, Rob Duberson; his sister, Renee Capouya, and her spouse, David Capouya; and his brother, Kevin Coulter, and his spouse, Laura Coulter. He is also survived by his nieces, Jennifer Capouya and Kaitlyn Funk, and his nephews, Jared Capouya and Seth Coulter. George was preceded in death by Janet Horan, his former wife and the mother of his daughter, Laura.

To those who knew him, George was “one of the good guys”—quick with a joke, fun to be around, and a lifelong friend. His humor and friendship will remain lasting memories for those whose lives he touched.
