COONEY, JAMES F., 97 of Sebring, FL died March 19, 2016. He was born in Boston, MA, son of the late John and Louise (Lederman) Cooney. A veteran of W.W. II serving in the Army Air Force. Moved to Sebring from Nashua, NH and was a Baptist. He was preceded in death by his wife, A. Agnes Cooney and is survived by his sons, Russell (Diane) Lethbridge, Lake Placid, FL, John (Judith) Lethbridge, Tyngsboro, MA; daughter - Beverly (Henry) Goodwin, Nashua, NH; cousin, Charlotte Chase, Naples, FL; grandchildren, Kathy (Scott) Callander, Timothy (Tracy) Lethbridge, Laura (Anthony) Ritenour, Andrew (Kimberly) Lethbridge, Matthew (Alicia) Lethbridge, Melissa (Jim) Spinella, Heidi (Kyle) Pompey, Tiffany (Matthew) Goss; seventeen great grandchildren. Visitation, Saturday, 10:00 am -12 noon at Morris Funeral Chapel. Graveside service 1:00 pm, Saturday at Oak Hill Cemetery, Lake Placid, FL with Military Honors by V.F.W. Post #4300 Honor Guard.
