James Eugene Durrance

In Loving memory of James Eugene Durrance most commonly known as Gene and my dear daddy. Went to be with the Lord Thursday afternoon March 29th. Born May 19th 1946 in Sebring Fl. Lived in Lake Placid Fl. He married our mother Marsha Durrance in 1973 who also went to be with the Lord on Thursday February the 22nd 2018. May the 14th would have made 45 years of marriage. Daddy retired from the Highlands County Road and Bridge dept. In 2010 after 30 years of service as a heavy equipment operator and truck driver. After retirement he bought a truck and started Durrance Trucking which he and I traveled the country delivering frieght for a short time. All the time I got to spend with him will be cherished the rest of my days! I Love You Daddy and Momma. Daddy's funeral will be Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. in Oak hill Cemetary Lake Placid Fl.
