HOLLENBERG, JEAN BREIDENSTINE, 85 of Sebring, FL, passed away June 24, 2017. She was born Sept. 17, 1931 to Nathan Breidenstine and Elizabeth "Betty" Stauffer Breidenstine-Ziegler of Lebanon, PA. She was a member of Lebanon Church of the Brethren, graduated Lebanon High School in 1949 and started working for First National Bank of Lebanon. She met and married John "Ralph" Hollenberg, June 7, 1953. She worked as bookkeeper for a Land Development Company for Sebring Hills, Tropical State Bank and Hollenberg & Wolfe. She was a member of the Sebring Church of the Brethren, and held many leadership roles including: a Life Deacon, organist, Pianist, choir member, financial secretary, treasurer, ladies aid & many other positions in the church. She was a Rotary Paul Harris recipient. She was preceded in death by her father Nathan Breidenstine, mother Elizabeth "Betty" Stauffer Breidenstine-Ziegler, step-father Caleb Ziegler, daughter Anita Hollenberg Byng, and sister-in-law Betty Breidenstine. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, John "Ralph" Hollenberg, brother Rev. John S. Breidenstine, son-in-law Myron "Terry" Byng (Martha), sons Bruce A. Hollenberg, Dean W. Hollenberg (Pat), Rev. Keith E. Hollenberg (Beth), grandchildren Rev. Jeremy S. Byng (Ginger), Darren M. Byng (Lara), Adam J. Hollenberg (Jennifer), Rev. Nathan P. Hollenberg (Kate), Stephanie M. Hollenberg-Smith (Jared), Melissa D. Hollenberg, Rev. Audrey N. Hollenberg-Duffy (Rev. Tim), Justin M. Hollenberg, Matthew D. Hollenberg and Jonathan A. Hollenberg and nine great grandchildren with number 10 on the way. Memorial service will be held Saturday July 8, 2017 at 11:00 AM with visitatin at 10:00 am at Sebring Church of the Brethren. Memorial gifts should be made out to the Sebring Church of the Brethren, 700 S. Pine St., Sebring, FL 33870 in memory of Jean Hollenberg.
