Joyce Marie Kinney

KINNEY, JOYCE MARIE, 84 of Sebring, FL went to be with her Lord on Thursday, June 4th, 2015. She was born in Miami, FL and retired as Purchasing Agent for the U.S. Coast Guard. A graduate of Miami Edison High School and was an active member of Allapattah Baptist Church, Stanton Memorial Baptist Church and Miami Shores Baptist Church, moving to Sebring in 2005. Joyce was an active member of Keenagers and the Dorcas Sunday School Class at First Baptist Church, Sebring. She was preceded by husbands, Rev. Walter Charles Rosier, Jr. and Platt Lasseter. She is survived by her loving family, husband, Lawrence S. Kinney; son David (Natalie Walker) Rosier; daughter, Sharon (Lee) Pearson, all of Sebring; step-children, Barbara (Bernie) Black and Roger (Mary) Kinney, all of Hollywood, FL; grandchildren, Timothy Pearson, Trevor Pearson, Kacey (Tim) Mee, Brian Kinney, Jonathan Kinney and Rebecca Kinney; one great grandchild, Abel Mee. Visitation, 6-8 pm, Monday at Morris Funeral Chapel. Services 10:00 am, Tuesday at Morris Funeral Chapel with Pastor Matt Crawford, Pastor of First Baptist Church, Sebring. Burial will follow at Pinecrest Cemetery, Sebring.
