HICKS, MARTHA JUANELL, 76, died May 27, 2017. She was born in Hardee County and has been a long time resident of Highlands County. A member of Lorida Baptist Church and former owner of Learning Lambs of Lorida. She is survived by her husband, Pee Wee Hicks; daughters, Sherri Tauchen, Beth Browning, Lauri Crews, Becki (Brad) Lowery and Tami Hicks; brother, George Smith; ten grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Visitation 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm Thursday with a service to held at 10:00 am Friday at Morris Funeral Chapel. Burial will be 12 noon at Ft. Bassinger Cemetery. Memorials are requested to Good Shepherd Hospice.
