HALL, Leonard Melford, 89, was called home by his Lord after a brief illness on March 22, 2011 with his loving wife and family by his side. Born on March 12, 1922 in Guardian, WV. Retiring to Sebring, FL, from Buttonwood Bay in 1984. He is survived by his devoted wife of 68 years Randa Mae Phillips Hall whom he married June 14 1942; 9 children, 26 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren. The family also wants to express their great appreciation to the doctor and nurses at Highlands Regional Medical Center and Hope Hospice. Leonard served in the US Navy aboard the USS Franklin and he was a member of the Littleton, WV Masonic Lodge. He retired from Blacksville #2 Consolidation Coal. A military and masonic ceremony was conducted at the LM Hall Jr. Family Cemetery, located in Guardian, WV. Leonard is now in God's hands and he will be remembered by those that knew and loved him as a WWII hero, patriot, loving husband, father grandfather, great grandfather and a friend to all that knew him.
