Lillian Sue Macias, 67 died July 19, 2025 after a long brave battle with cancer. She was born in Olive Hill, KY and a long time resident of Highlands County as well as Ashand, OH.Lily's eyes were blue as the sky and along with her contagious laugh was an amazing wife, loving mother and grandmother.
She raised three beautiful children, babysat other children as her own were growing up, managed fast food restaurants, was a baker at Walmart and finished her working career as a dedicated and caring CNA who deeply loved and cared for all her patients.Her hobbies consisted of going to Bingo, Texas Holdem, Blackjack and loved watching scary movies. She spent lots of time with her children, grandchildren and watching her children's fur babies. She was obsessed with a good, cold Hazelnut iced coffee.
Lily was a devout Christian who loved the Lord and found comfort in Him during her last days here on Earth.Lily was preceded in death by her parents Naamon Tomlin, Marjorie Smith, sister Connie Delgado, brother Naamon "Tim" Young and baby Macias.She is survived by her son, Jesse (Amanda) Macias Jr, of Avon Park, FL; daughters, Marjorie (Trevor) Cauffield of Sebring, FL and Shana Macias of Ashland, OH; brother, Kenny (Tina) Young; sister in law, Christy Young; grandchildren, Eric (Laccie) Bussiere, Blaine Cauffield, Paisley and Brailey Macias.
A Private Celebration of Life will be held Monday, July 28, at 3:00pm at Avon Park Lakes Baptist Church.
