Luis S Delgado

Luis S. Delgado, age 91, of Sebring, Florida, passed away peacefully in Orlando, Florida. Born in 1934 in Humacao, Puerto Rico, Luis made Sebring his home in 1977. He proudly served his country as a veteran of the United States Army and later retired as a dedicated letter carrier for the United States Postal Service. A devout member of St. Catherine Catholic Church, Luis lived his life with faith, love, and commitment to family.

Luis was a passionate fan of baseball, boxing, golf, and tennis, and he cherished sharing these interests with those around him.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Margarita; his son, Juan (Denise) Delgado of Sebring; his daughter, Sonia (Samuel) Delgado-Hernandez of Orlando; sisters, Ana and Julia of Puerto Rico; three grandchildren, Juan Luis II, Richard, and Alexandrina (Lexie); eight great-grandchildren and grand fur babies who brought him endless joy.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 17, 2025, from 6:00–8:00 PM at Morris Funeral Chapel. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, August 18, 2025, at 10:00 AM at St. Catherine Catholic Church, with entombment to follow at Lakeview Memorial Gardens.

Luis will be remembered for his warm heart, unwavering dedication to his loved ones, and the many ways he touched the lives of those around him.
