Mary Claire Hess

HESS, MARY CLAIRE, 88 of Sebring, FL died, Wednesday, October 31, 2012 in Ruskin, FL. She was born in Youngstown, OH. She attended Baptist Bible Institute, Cleveland, OH and Piedmont Bible College, Winston Salem, NC. Mary was the devoted wife of the late Rev. Robert G. Hess. They pastured church's in Ohio, North Carolina, Baltimore, MD, retiring from Goodwill Baptist Church, Richmond, VA, moving to Maranatha Village, Sebring, FL in 1985. They founded a ministry of supplying clothing for missionaries, pastors and theological students, many were sent to Russia, Rumania and the Ukraine. Mary is survived by her brother, Jack (Jean) Gachesa, Cocoa Beach, FL and several nieces and nephews. Services will be 11:00 am, Saturday at Morris Funeral Chapel with visitation thirty minutes prior. She will be buried next to her husband at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.
