JOHNSON-RODGERS, MARY GWEN, 78 of Sebring, FL, died February 24, 2012. She was born in Hove, England residing in Portland, MI until moving to Sebring in 1994. Mary worked as an L.P.N. at Carson City Hospital for 10 years, then in Home Health Care for two years. She then worked as a Press Operator for Chrysler Motor Car for the next 17 years. She raised Arbian Horses for 20 years in Michigan. Mary is a member of Maranatha Baptist Church, Sebring. She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Lee Frincke, Davison, MI; son, Glen Douglas Johnson, Sand Lake, MI; step-daughters, Daine Stertzbach, Tucson, AZ, Carol Collins, Ester Tunic; step-sons, David Rodgers and Robert Lee Rodgers; half-brothers, Rex Slingsby, Michael Walker and Peter Walker; 21 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Services, 11:00 am, Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at Maranatha Baptist Church with Pastor Gerald Webber officiating. Visitation one hour prior to services. Burial will be held in North Plains Township, MI.
