Mary E. King

KING, MARY E., 99 of Sebring, FL, passed away, August 26, 2016. Mary was born in Morrow County, OH moving to Sebring in 1976 from Boynton Beach, FL. Mary was active in the Highlands County School System where she was in charge of the Adult Volunteer Program. She and her late husband, George were active in the Sebring Chamber and she proudly presented the student of the month awards each month at their breakfast meeting, they were also very active in many community activities. A member of First Presbyterian Church, Sebring. She is Survived by Sons - G. Roger King, Dublin, Ohio; Dr. Bruce O. King, PhD, Oakland, CA; and 3 Grandchildren. Memorials are requested to the Scholarship Fund at Sebring High School. The family will receive friends, Wednesday 5:30-6:30 pm with a service at 6:30 pm at First Presbyterian Church with Pastor Darrell Peer officiating. Burial, Thursday 12:30 pm at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.
