Norman A Smith

Norman A. Smith, 87, of Sebring passed away on Thursday January 18, 2024. He was born in Bartow, FL to the late Clyde M. Smith and Lois Elizabeth Johnson. 

He was a lifelong resident of Sebring, FL and a graduate of Sebring High School, Class of 1956; a member of the First United Methodist Church in Sebring. During high school he worked at the Florida Theatre and Sebring Drive-In; he retired after 45 years as the manager of Coker Fuel and Sebring Gas. He was a veteran of the United State Air Force and a Past President of the Sebring Lions Club.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Ruth Comstock Smith and his brothers Ronnie, Danny and Dale Arthur Smith.

He is survived by his brothers, Clyde “Babe” (Ann) Smith, Walter M. “Butch” (Judy) Smith and Larry J. (Rosie) Smith; many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 25, 2024 from 10-11:00 AM with a funeral service at 11:00AM at Morris Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at Pinecrest Cemetery, Sebring.
