Robert William "Bill" Henderson, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 15th.

Bill was born in West Palm Beach, FL, son of the late James and Laurene Henderson. He was a graduate of Palm Beach High School class of 1966 and a graduate of South Florida Community College with AS of Fire Science & Arts; a Bachelor's degree from Florida Atlantic University of Boca Raton with a degree in Elementary Education. Bill retired as a Lieutenant with the City of West Palm Beach County Fire Rescue after 26 years. Then he moved to Sebring in 2000 and worked for the Highlands County Sheriff Office in the jail teaching GED to the inmates for 20 years through the South Florida State College. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Sebring.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Bobbie J. Henderson; children, Robert W. Henderson, Jr., Megan (Rosley) Jean-Louis, Susan (David) Wright and Samuel Harrison; sister, Eugenie Kerr; 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held at First Baptist Church of Sebring on Friday, February 20th at 11:00 AM.
