Rodney G. Hollinger

Rodney Hollinger, retired deputy superintendent of Highlands County Schools and founding member of the California Toe Jam band passed away on November 10th the age of 72 after a 7-year battle with Parkinson’s disease, surrounded by family and loved ones who will continue to honor his legacy by walking in the path of the Lord.

A lifelong educator, Rodney completed his doctorate of education degree at the University of Central Florida and spent over 40 years in the Highlands County Schools system in a broad range of academic and coaching roles. 

Rodney is survived by his beautiful wife Jane, sister Ramona; daughter Danielle and son Robbie, and proud grandpa of two grandsons Taylor and Ethan.

Services will be held at Bible Fellowship Church in Sebring Florida on Sunday, November 19^th at 4:00pm EST.
