Sandra "Sandy" Kaye Leibfritz

Sandra (Sandy) Kaye Leibfritz, departed her loving family and went home to be with her Lord on Thursday, November 26th, 2020 in Sebring, Florida.
Born in Little Rock, AR on April 9th, 1946 to Ray and Lucille Diemer, Sandy was a nurturing and caring individual who touched the lives of all who knew her.
She graduated from Fuller High School in 1964 and became certified as a beautician shortly thereafter. In time, she opened Sandra’s Hair Fashions in Landmark and continued doing the work she loved with the people who meant so much to her. Her greatest role, however, was that of a mother.  She devoted her life to her children, was dedicated in all aspects of their lives and will continue to influence them through her example of unwavering love and support.
Sandy was an active member of Lorance Drive Church of Christ until she moved to Florida in 2016.  There was never a task that needed to be completed that you couldn’t count on her to pitch in and complete and she truly found joy through serving and helping others. Her hobbies included crafting in most forms, Nascar, cheering on her beloved Razorbacks, and her cooking abilities were unrivaled.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Lucille Diemer; her husband, Les Leibfritz; brother, James Diemer; sister, Nettie Jo Orr; and her son, Thomas “Tommy” Oaks, Jr.
She is survived by her two daughters, Brandi Oaks and LeaEllen Read; her daughter-in-law, Allison Lee; 8 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, one niece, two nephews; her favorite “good boy”, Hyde Baxter,  and many lifelong friends that she considered family.
Interment will be at Landmark Cemetery in Little Rock, Arkansas and a small graveside service will occur at a date to be determined.  A Celebration of Life is being planned and a date will be announced once travel arrangements have been made. Donations can be made in her honor to Lorance Drive Church of Christ.
