Sharon L. Vornholt

VORNHOLT, SHARON L., 67 OF Sebring, FL went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 9, 2010, following a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was born on November 4, 1943 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Klemens and Mildred Zabel, both of whom predeceased her. Sharon is survived by her devoted husband, Jerry H. Vornholt, her sister, Carol Conner of Tallahassee, Florida, her sister-in-law, Sue (Steve) Heiwig of Columbus, Indiana, and by many friends in Indiana, Wisconsin and Florida. After graduating from Concordia University with a BS degree in education, Sharon taught school in Indian, Wisconsin and Florida. She and her husband moved to Sebring, Florida in 2006. Throughout her lifetime, Sharon served the Lord in various Christian ministries. Her genuine faith in the Lord was readily evident to all who knew her. Visitation will be at 1:30 pm, Monday, December 13, 2010 at Maranatha Baptist Church in Sebring, FL, (863) 382-4301, followed by a funeral service at 2:30 pm. Memorials are requested to American Cancer Society or Hope Hospice. Envelopes will be available at the service.
