HERALD, THOMAS, 75, of Sebring, FL died Saturday, March 9th, surrounded by his adoring wife, Mary Herald, his son Tom Herald, Jr. with his wife Kathy, his son Pat Herald, his daughter Terri St. George and his daughter Koreen Billman. Earlier in the day, he also saw his son-in-law, Tony St. George and three of his eleven grandchildren, Angie, Monica and Russell St. George. He was preceded in death by granddaughter, Carisa Herald. He was born in Norvelt, PA, Tom is survived by his brother Ed Herald and his wife, Yvonne of Lake Mary, FL. After earning his bachelor's degree at St. Vincent College in Latrobe, PA, he earned his masters degree at Indiana University of PA. Tom was a social studies teacher in Irwin, PA, at Norwin School District, while living in Greensburg, PA. Teaching for over 25 years, Tom inspired thousands of students to be their best and to believe in their potential. Tom was a loving husband, Fabulous dad and fun grandfather. Family was everything to him and it showed in the way he lived his life each day. The viewing, 9:00-10:30 am, Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at Morris Funeral Chapel in Sebring, FL. Following the viewing, a funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Catherine's Catholic Church at 11:00 AM. A luncheon will immediately follow at the St. Catherine's Catholic Church's Fellowship Hall. Memorials are requested to American Heart Association or St. Catherine's School.
